This was my first order and I ordered the sockeye salmon. All I can say is Wow! There is no comparison to what I get in the grocery store. I was hesitant to order because shipping was ground shipping and it was going to take 3 days to get to me. But when it arrived the dry ice was still frozen solid and so was the salmon. I was surprised and pleased to know the salmon hadn't defrosted during shipping. I will most definitely order again. The salmon is very tasty and has a perfect flaky texture. I loved it!
I started buying my fish from Capt. Tony years ago. I buy from no one else. It is the best tasting and best packaged. I have bins in my deep freeze so I can separate all kinds of fish.
The halibut is absolutely the best fish I have ever had. We have made it several different ways and it is always delicious. One piece is enough for 2 of us so it is also a good buy. It’s every bit as good as we get from nice restaurants and a lot less price wise.
We love Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood! It’s delicious & shipped fast. Packed extremely well & arrives frozen solid every time! So glad it’s caught wild & processed in Alaska & not China or elsewhere. We prefer only sockeye Salmon & WAS co. gives you the option to order only Sockeye if you choose, unlike other companies. We enjoy the 6 oz portion size as the larger fillet is too large for us to eat at one time. There seem to always be sales, so when we run low we take advantage of the sales. Their price can’t be beat! We highly recommend this company’s products over others! Simply delicious!
I'LL NEVER EAT ANY OTHER SALMON BUT THIS!!! I've purchased this salmon over the years and totally fell in love with the flavor and texture. It really is better than anything else I've tried. Well, I moved and had to leave my freezer behind and now have a much smaller fridge/freezer. Not much room. SO, I have been purchasing smaller amounts from a local store. It was not good but I ate it anyway. I finally had enough of it and ordered more salmon from Captain Tony and OH WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I'm so glad I made room for it in my freezer. I have learned my lesson. My mouth is drooling just thinking about the taste. It just melts in your mouth. Bottom line - BUY IT!!!!! PS: My cat loves it too. I mean, look at that face, I have to share with him!
Excellent product. The Salmon and Halibut is first rate. Better yet, is their customer service. UPS lost our order (and it was quite large) and they shipped out a replacement right away. I am 100% pleased with every aspect of this company.
Oh my gosh, the King Salmon and the Sockeye Salmon are delicious. I stovetop cooked a piece of each in olive oil and then put Pampered Chef Spicy Pineapple Rum sauce on it. Delicious. The Cod is on the menu this week.
Fabulous! We switched from Costco’s Sockeye Salmon to Steelhead after too many mediocre (at best) tasting fillets but certainly missed the flavor of good Sockeye. We recently visited our daughter who had made the switch to Wild Alaska and it was so delicious upon getting home we put in an order for ourselves. 9 minutes in an air fryer at 400, simply fabulous! We could not be happier!! And now look forward to trying some of your other fish and seafood as well. Thanks Tony and Crew!!!
